Biblical Worldview (4 weeks - starting September 19 - Room 222) - Have you ever wondered why research consistently shows that most born again Christians are indistinguishable from non-Christians in the attitudes and behavior?  Have you been concerned that the Chruch is not having the influence it ought to have on our society?  Based on years of research and testing, George Barna addresses these important issues in this compelling DVD.  The premise is simple: you cannot act like Jesus until you think like Jesus.  So, how can we think like Jesus?  Barna contends that the key is developing and worldview that incorporates critical scriptural principles and translates those beliefs into specific action.  In this practical DVD, Barna describes what he research revealed about the people who think and behave on the basis of a biblical worldview.  (Facilitator: Richard Smith)

Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions (4 weeks - starting October 24th - Room 222) – The enemy has plans for your children, do you?  Based on original research among children, parents and churches, George Barna reveals his discoveries about the significance of ministry to children - and what is required to help them become transformed for Christ.  In addition to describing why ministry to young people may be the single most strategic ministry activity, he outlines what children need to become spiritual champions, how parents can provide such nurture, and the appropriate role of the local church in this developmental process.  (Facilitator: Wayne Watkins)
