Wayne came to First Rosenberg from Rome, Georgia in 2000.  Wayne is our Minister of Education.  He leads our Sunday school and Discipleship Ministries for the church as well as provides administrative oversight for other areas of ministries here at First Rosenberg.  As a military brat, Wayne has lived in Africa, Germany, Maine and finally settled in Texas graduating from High School in Ft. Worth.  Wayne graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene with a BA in Religious Education and Psychology in 1982.  More importantly he met his wife to be, Cathy, while attending HSU.  Wayne and Cathy were joined in holy matrimony on Wayne's 23rd birthday, June 5, 1982.  Wayne also graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Religious Education and Counseling.  Wayne has since served in churches in Texas and Georgia.  He and his wife Cathy have two daughters, Bethany and Rebecca.

In his spare time...oh wait...Wayne does not have any spare time.  As a hobby...whoops, he does not have any hobbies either, but he does like spending as much time as he can with his family and writing.  He also loves banana pudding.
